BBQs at lunch will be free to members wearing this year's themed FFA t-shirt (teal with surfing cow). For everyone else the cost will be $3 if they would like to eat at the BBQ. All dress up days, lunchtime activities and BBQs are open to all students on campus!

Our CDE Judging Team Practice shedule is available in the forms/applications section of the website. This document lists the teams available, coaches, and practice dates and times.
The California FFA State Leadership Conference will be held Saturday, April 21st through Tuesday, April 24th.
There will also be a One Day trip on Monday April 23rd for students who would like attend the conference for one day.
Students who are interested in attending should visit the Forms/Applications section of the website to download an application to attend the conference. Applications for the full conference and the one day conference are due by January 27th with a $35 deposit.
The Hanford FFA Cotton Judging Team wins the 2011 State FFA Cotton judging title. Congratulations to Maddy Wisecarver 1st high, Katie La Blue 2nd High, Claudia Flores 5th high, and Russell Zimmerman.

Hanford FFA's Annual Fall Awards Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:30PM in the Stratton L. Tarvin Presentation Center at Hanford High with refreshments to follow. Please be a little early to allow time for parking and seating. The doors will open at 6:00PM. We hope to conclude no later than 8:00PM.

William Brewster of the Hanford FFA Chapter works with his father in a cheese processing company. The plant produces traditional style and specialty Portuguese cheese, as well as fruit baskets, jellies and snacks. It's Haunting Time!!!
Our next FFA Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25th at 6:30pm. The meeting will be at Hanford High School in the Cafeteria.
Our activity this month is the Haunted Agriculture Department. Admission into the haunting experience is two non-perishable food items.
There will also be a costume contest with prizes in the areas of Most Original, Scariest, and Most Creative. Costumes must be school appropriate, in dress code and cannot have full face masks.
The next Hanford FFA Parents Club Meeting will be held on October 25th at 6:30pm (same time as the next Hanford FFA Meeting) at Hanford High School in Room 705 (Mr. Combe's room).
Upcoming parent club events will be discussed as well as a recap of the Parent Club Dinner.
All parents are welcome to attend the meeting!
Interested in competing in the Prepared Public Speaking or Extemporaneous Public Speaking events?
There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, September 28th at 3:30pm at Hanford High School in room 603. We will be discussing the contests, topics, and practice schedules.
If you cannot make it to the meeting, please contact Miss Henson or Mr. Combes as soon as possible!
Donation money for Relay for Life is due Friday, September 30th to you ag teacher!
If you raise $100 or more, you get a free Relay for Life t-shirt and the opportunity to spend the entire time at the Relay for Life event on October 8th-9th.
