Advisory Council

The Heyworth FFA parent and community advisory board is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support and promote the FFA Organization, Heyworth FFA activities, and agricultural education. Parents of FFA members, former active, collegiate and honorary FFA members, present and former professional agricultural educators and others interested in the FFA are welcome to participate. The advisory board meets monthly in the Heyworth High School ag classroom.

The advisory board participates and assists with the following activities:

  • FFA Community Dinners
  • FFA Test Plot
  • Chapter FFA Officer Selection Committee
  • Tractor Restorations
  • Tractor Shows
  • Judges for public speaking and proficiency interviews
  • Chapter FFA Banquet
  • Various fundraising projects
