I joined FFA because my dad was in it and he liked being in FFA. FFA and Ag plays a big part in your life and you learn a lot that you can use in life. I also found out we had an awesome Ag teacher and it might be easy to get along with him. I also joined FFA to prove my knowledge in different CDE''''''''s. The FFA shows leadership and competition like the real world.

My most challenging FFA experience was on there was a Ag mech CDE in Fairbury ,ill. I applied for it because there was a surveying part and my dad’s a surveyor. So, I though because my dad can survey that he could teach me how to. I spent about a week trying to remember how to survey. Well when I got to the CDE I was in for a ride because I could not remember how to survey. I failed horribly even though I tried as much as I could.

When I think down to the tip of the nail I think about my dad. When I was about 2 years old I lived with my mom. My mom and my biological father had a lot of issues. They turned to drugs and a lot of horrible stuff. Well my biological father didn’t want anything to do with me after that and my mom found a guy named Brad. Brad is who I now call dad because he took me in and adopted me. A while after my dad and my mom split up, my mom didn’t have her mind straightened out once again. My dad the hero and awesome guy he is fought my mom and got custody of my sister and I. Today for 7 years my dad has had custody of me and is the best thing that has ever happened to me. My dad is the one person to have the greatest impact on me.

If I had a million dollars I’d buy as much of a share in Coca Cola as I could. Then after I have all the money in shares and stocks I''d take fifty percent of the money and put it in my savings. The rest of the money I make or get back Id invest in the Heyworth ag program so they have a bigger shop with better tools. I’d put money into ag because I like ag and I think it’s a great program and there’s a lot to learn.

My favorite thing about ag is learning about the different breeds and the intense competitions. My other favorite things are hanging out with my friend Abby Gunn. She is a pretty cool person. She and I help each other out when we have difficulties. That’s my favorite thing about ag.
