Why did you join FFA?

When I was in jr. high, and the high school students came and talked to my class, I was intrigued by what they did in ag and what  opportunities they had. I was also interested in how you could earn so many scholarships through FFA. I know scholarships will really help me when I graduate high school. FFA has shown me many different things that I could do with my life that I wasn't aware of before. FFA has really helped me!

What has been your most challenging FFA experience?

So far the only challenge for me was learning the FFA creed. The creed was not what I expected at all though. I thought the creed would be very long and old fashioned. Then I realized that it was only five long sentences, and it wasn't old fashioned like I assumed. The creed had words that my generation today could understand. Once I learned the creed it was very easy to recite, and I did it in front of the class. Because I did the creed, I didn't have to do the seven day final exam! I was very proud of myself for taking the time to learn the creed!

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

My mom has had the greatest impact on my life so far. She has taught me many things and still is teaching me things that I need to know that will help me now and later in life. She has taught me that I need to be a good example to my friends and not to always follow what they do. She has also taught me that I need to respect my elders and other people even if I don't know them. Generally I need to respect everyone whether I want to or not. These are only some of the ways my mom has had the greatest impact on my life so far!

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

If I ever had a million dollars I would help out my family with all their economical needs. I would also buy things for my family and friends. There is not much that I want, and the way I live now is fine with me. Although sometimes I wish I was rich, but I don't know what I would do with the money. Either that or all the money would go to my head. I also wouldn't want to become spoiled by all the money because I know people who are spoiled and those of people I don't like to be around. If I did have a million dollars I would use it whenever needed!

What is your favorite thing about Ag and FFA so far?

My favorite thing about FFA and ag is freedom. All my other classes I just have to take notes and listen, but while in this class almost everything is interactive. I'm rarley ever bored in ag. We do fun things and always have interesting activities to do. Mostly everything we do is hands on, and we rarley ever just sit around. There is always a fun activity to do. Freedom is my favorite thing so far about ag and FFA.
