Why did you join FFA?

FFA has so many opportunities in high school and even after it. I wanted to join FFA to learn more about farm life and be more knowledgeable about agriculture. Joining the National FFA Organization has been one of the best decisions of my high school career, and I look forward to the opportunities a career in agricluture will bring.

What has been your most challenging FFA experience?

I think the record book is the most challenging part of ag class. It is sometimes hard to keep up with all of the entries needed per month. Though it may be really time consuming, it is nice that we work on it in class. It is also on a website that I can get to whenever I need to. I probably have one of the most complex record books from our chapter, but it will be worth it to have an actual record I can look back to some day.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

My family has raised me to who I am today. They have supported me in everything I do. My family has taught me everything I know. I can go to them whenever I need anything. They are the greatest impact of my life, and I appreciate everything they do for me.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

Some people would probably go spend it all without thinking about it. I would carefully think about it before spending it. I would definitely use it to better our farm. There is so many bills to be paid between feed and basic everyday supplies. I would use the money to fix up the barn and purchase some more livestock for my record.

What is your favorite thing about ag and FFA so far?

FFA has so many opportunities. There are SAEs and CDEs that I learn so much from. I learn things from FFA knowledge to learn how to tie a tie. Though it may be very hot at times, my favorite part of FFA is wearing my Official dress. I love representing this great organization. I feel proud to where the blue jacket, to carry the legacy that the National FFA Organization holds.
