About Our Chapter

Our Original Charter

Our Charter was started up on January 19,  1955. The original chapter had 51 boys in it. The chapter has since then added girls to their member list.  Some of the orginal members have grandkids or relatives in our chapter now. Cumberland has a reputation for doing great at the section 20 CDE cometitions. In 1992 and 1996 Cumberland won the state Parliamentary Procedures constests. In 1997 and 1998 Cumberland won the state Forestry contests. Also in 2002  Cumberland was a national winner of the Tractor Restoration.
