I joined FFA because I would like to receive scholarships and I also joined because throughout my whole life I have lived and worked on a farm and I have learned so much from that experience. I also joined FFA because through FFA you meet a lot of new people from everywhere across the United States. I also joined FFA so that I wouldn't have to take any core science classes because I don't think that sitting in a class for 45 minutes listening to a teacher talk and lecture is very fun. In FFA you do things that are fun and active such as the petting zoo and the FFA olympics.
My most challenging FFA experience would have to be learning the cattle breeds. Learning more than 35 breeds is very challenging because I have to remember several things about the specific breeds. Many students think that SAE projects are the worst thing in the world, but if you think about it they aren't really that bad.
The person who has had the greatest impact on my life would be my mom. My mom has raised me and helped me through the good and the bad. There have been several people in my life and they have all helped me through my life. My mom has helped me do homework, and offers to volunteer in any school activities. She has picked me up when I have fallen down. She has done several things in my life and I would do anything for her when she was in need.
If I had a million dollars I would do many things with it! I would give some money to charity and then some to family members in need I would put some in savings and some into my own pocket. I would give money to the homeless and a no-kill shelter. With the money that I keep I would purchase a farm and raise several horses and I would also give lessons to disabled children who are unable to walk or run like other children.
My favorite thing about ag and FFA would have to be the CDE's. CDE's are so fun and interesting to go to because you get to learn new things and meet new people. I also enjoy the community dinners because you get to show other people from your community that you care about ag and FFA. The older and former FFA members look at you, and you get to show them that you’re not letting FFA down. That you care about what they did back then and that you are keeping FFA and Ag going throughout the years.
