Why did you join FFA?

We were supposed to be doing some hands on things. I would rather be doing something hands on then sitting in a classroom listening to a lecture. I am interested in outdoor things like plants and animals. I needed a credit so I took and ag class. There is no homework in the class. We interact in the class and we get up and move around so it's not so boring.

What has been your most challenging FFA experience?

The hardest thin in ag so far was learning over 100 different plants and four or five different floral arrangements and in a short time. Also learning over 150 different meat cuts. We have been working about 2 months now learning the meat cuts. We worked about a month and a half on the plants and about a week on the arrangments. It is very hard to try to memorize so many things at once. There are still some plants that we havent learned yet.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

My parents have had the greatest impact on my life. They help me out a lot when I need them. If I need a little bit of money one of them will usually help me out. My mom hepls me out on my homework when I need it. My dad has been a great supporter in my life and he is proud that I am joining the Marine Corps. which makes me happy also.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

If I had a million dollars I would pay my parents house off and buy myself a new one. I would buy both of my parents a new car and my nephew any thing he wanted. I would buy a sweet muscel car and a streetbike. Then I would save the rest of the money. I would buy a new rifle and a slug gun to hunt with. I would also invest some of my money, eventhough the market isn't so good it will eventually come back up.

What is you favorite thing about ag and FFA so far?

My favoriet thing about ag so far was probably in AG1 learning about all the animals. We leared about a bunch of different cattle, horses, pigs, chickens, and rabbits. It was fun because we would have contests to see who memorized the most. Also working on the tractor last year. Another favorite thing about ag is not having homework, for a highschool senior that is like heaven on earth.
