On Saturday, September 20th, Marengo FFA members and parents of FFA members planted a botanical garden at the High School. The garden is designed using all perennial flowers and plants which were all donated by Hoffie Nursery. The garden consists of 32 different varieties of plants which will help promote Horticulture and will assist in preparing students for a future career or further education in the industry. The garden is located on the southwest corner of the school and will be open for anyone to view for education purposes. The Marengo FFA would like to thank Carsten and Allyson Hoffmeyer, owners of Hoffie Nursery, for their generosity and support! Also, thank you to Teri Klick and Lynn Rosemann for their help in planting the garden.
