Why did you join FFA?

When I was a student at Imbler High School I joined FFA my freshman year because it was just starting a new chapter, and it seemed like a new and fun adventure to assist in.  I also for many years at our local county fair noticed that the winning FFA shomanship awards were belt buckles, and I really wanted a belt buckle of my own, so I joined for that reason as well.

What has been your most rewarding FFA experience?

I am truly blessed to live and work where I do. I have a great group of students who eagerly come to class everyday, a very supporting group of peer professionals in my school. I also have a very close relationship and friendships with the group of agriculture educators as well in our part of the state.  The community, administration, and supporters make Imbler High School and Imbler FFA truly a wonderful program to sign my name to. I wouldn't have survived in this profession without all the cogs in all the right places. Imbler is where I love to be.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

All members of my family have great impacts on how I live my life. I have been married since 2004, and a father since 2006. Both my wife and children (Jayda and Jeytt) have impacted and improved my life greatly.  I couldn't imagine this journey through life without any of them.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

My family always said if we won the lottery things wouldn't change all that much, we would just have nicer, straighter, and better fences on the ranch. I think I would use the same philosophy. I would also make sure that the people who had made an incredible impact in my life so far, received a little something back in return.
