I wanted to show students the diverse opportunities available to them in the field of Agriculture.
My wife and I came to Chowchilla High School because of the great reputation of this FFA Chapter.

This is my seventh year at Chowchilla
What made you want to be an FFA advisor? And why at Chowchilla?
I had a great advisor in high school and he is my inspiration.
Comparing the three schools were I have taught, Chowchilla has by far the best students that I have had the pleasure to work with.

My agriculture teacher in high school motivated me to teach agriculture and become an FFA Advisor. I chose Chowchilla because of its wonderful reputation and outstanding community support. Also the central valley it’s where the heart of agriculture is.

13 yearsWhat made you want to be an FFA advisor? And why at Chowchilla?
I enjoy agriculture and the way of life associated with it. I enjoy being able to teach students about the FFA and the Ag industry and all of the good things it has to offer, the FFA has so much to offer students. When I first started my teaching I was looking for a strong ag program that had a lot to offer students, Chowchilla fit that bill and there was an opening and the rest is history.
