Why did you join FFA?

I originally joined the FFA since my older brothers and sister were members in Lincoln.  I also wanted to make that natural progression from 4-H to FFA to show and sell animals.  I got so involved in Parliamentary Procedure, Horse Judging, and all the local activities that I never wanted to give it up so...here I am...an FFA Advisor and agriculture teacher.

What has been your most challenging FFA experience?

To this date keeping an active and exciting chapter is also a challenging yet rewarding experience.  But the most challenging has to be an all senior officer team.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

My family definitely.  Agricultural values were instilled in me at a young age and I enjoy getting to share those with others.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

After the new pick-up?  I would definitely plan to save for my children's education and offer scholarships to OHS students who couldn't afford traveling with the FFA or higher education. My husband says we need to get a bigger ranch, too.

Final thought

Live life to its fullest every day.  Look for the good things and keep a positive attitude.  Don't sweat the small stuff.
