Kingfisher County Farmhand Olympics

The Kingfisher County Free Fair started yesterday, August 18th with the Farmhand Olympics.  The FFA took 5 teams, 3 teams in the intermediate division and 2 in the senior division.  Congratulations to "The Tribe" who won 1st place in the intermediate division.  The team consisted of Kelsey Daniel, Courtney Maroney, CyLeigh Maroney, and KK Stephenson.  Also, congrats to "The Boss" team who received 3rd place in the senior division.  The team consisted of Caleb Cogburn, Baylee Broadbent, Austen Evans, & Hunter Suntken.  The winners received gift cards to Atwoods in Kingfisher. 


Kingfisher PI Swine Show Results

The Kingfisher PI Swine Show was held Friday, August 13th at Crescent at 7pm.  Cashion took 11 pigs and had an excellent day with Reserve Grand Overall, 2 breed champions, and 2 reserve champions.  The results are as follows:

Ryan Baker – Reserve Grand Overall & Champion Hamp, York 1st
Bella Butler – Champion Poland
Rylee Broadbent – Reserve Champion Cross
Jesse Lyon – Reserve Champion Duroc
Cade Broadbent – Cross 2nd
Drew Baker – Cross 3rd, Cross 3rd
Caleb Cogburn – York 2nd, Cross 3rd


Cashion FFA Soars

Cashion FFA has received the most prestigious award that can be given to an FFA Chapter.  They have been awarded the National 3-Star Gold Emblem Chapter Award.  It is an award that is based off of student development, chapter development, and community development. 

Big 3 Livestock Judging
