Why did you decide to become an agriculture education teacher?

I always knew I would end up teaching agriculture, but there were other life opportunities I wanted to try first.  I tried and enjoyed everything I did and accomplished.  I believe my experiences helped mold me into the teacher that I am today.

What has been your most challenging FFA experience?

My most challenging experience has been to build a FFA chapter that the school and community would be proud to call their own.

Who has had the greatest impact on your life?

My wife, Holly.  She is a former agricultural educator and has great insight.  She has helped me be a better husband, teacher, and soon-to-be father.  Also my daughter, Maggie has been the light of my life and I am so blessed to have such a great gift from God.  Now I can add my son, Reed, to my list of blessings.  My family has definitely impacted my life.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

I would definitely retire and do an outrageous amount of traveling (mainly to warm climates).   Holly and I might even move to Hawaii.
