Through this committee, our job is to inform the Charleston FFA Chapter about what a cooperative is and how it works. We do this through a Beef Jerky Cooperative that is run within the Agriculture Department. Students have the opportunity to purchase shares of this cooperative for $1 per share with a maximum of 30 shares. This is a no-risk opportunity for the students and it gives the students an opportunity to experience a working cooperative.
We placed 2nd in Section 20 this year with our cooperative!
