This years Stockman is to be held at Dekalb FFA in Auburn, IN. Go to forms on this site to find information.
The Stockman Livestock Contest is a large judging event that we host each October. Last year teams from over twenty two states competed in the event.
Also last year we held a National FFA division for teams preparing for the National FFA contest the following week. We had teams from California to Virginia that competed in this event.
Our chapter would like to thank all the livestock suppliers, officials, meal help, tabulation crew, group leaders, show people, reason rooms coordinator and anyone else to help make this event a success.

Teams that attend Stockman
Senior College teams that have participated. Purdue, Oregon State, Missouri, Kansas State, Chico State, Illinois, Western Illinois, Iowa State, Kentucky, The Ohio State, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Southern Illinois University, Tenn/Martin, Fort Hays and University of Wyoming.
Junior College teams: Black Hawk East, Spoon River College, Lincoln Land, Lake Land, Joliet, Butler, Coffeyville, Colby, Hutchinson, Redlands, Casper Wyoming, Illinois Central CollegeFort Scott.
We generally have 25-30 4H/FFA teams from all across the county.
***This year we are the weekend prior to the National FFA Convention and would expect a larger turnout of National FFA teams. FFA teams will place 12 classes of breeding and market livestock, give 4 sets of oral reasons, take a exam and potentially will have a cattle grading class.
